Summary of Action Items

  1. Communication Director- Rozhen to confirm with David if he would like to stay on or pass responsibility to Ally
  2. Event Supplies – Mike M and Mike S to coordinate new purchases
  3. Park Clean-up – Rozhen to confirm with Mike M if he will be DRI
  4. Mimico Go Petition
    1. Mike S to draft a proposal with support from Lauren for the week of April 7th
    2. Rozen to confirm meeting with MPP 
  5. Development – Lauren to draft a letter outlining the process and challenges with OLT for a blog post
  6. Green Mimico – Mike S to confirm with Green Mimico their intent to stay on as an MRA subgroup or independent entity

4. Event SuppliesNew items to be purchased:Tent: Mike M and Mike SBanner, with the new logo: Mike M and Mike S Flyers – to be redesigned by Richard and printed by Mike M Hats: Mike M to order another batch of 200

EventsLocal MRKT EventsThe challenge has been having MRA representation at each event.  Staffing for each event will be determined before each MRKTApril 19 – Emma DRI, Lauren to support and Jim to help with the setupPark Clean-up – Rozhen to confirm with Mike M if he will be coordinating Opportunity to piggyback off of Toronto Community Clean-up days or hosting events independently Summer Drinks – TBDMimico Walking ToursMimico Food FestHalloween Dance Opportunities for:Trivia Night Walking Tour (past, present, future) – DRI Rozhen

7. Growing/ Improving MRA  Membership Campaign Social Media will be a big boost – Richard DRI Should “Mimico” hats be exclusive for MRA members? To be discussed further at a future meeting

8. OtherFederal Election DebateMRA is not interested in pursuing
Green Mimico MRA “Green Mimico” representation at the Toronto Community Environmental Day on Saturday, April 5th MRA needs to determine if Green Mimico is a subgroup or independent of MRAMichael S to draft doc of Green Mimico mandate and responsibilities
