That isn’t the only new sign in Mimico

We appreciate Councillor Amber Morley having us and several other local groups participate in the discussions regarding improvements of the heritage building in Coronation Park (former Mimico Train Station). The City approved the budget and construction is starting in Spring 2027. We look forward to having this space available for our community!

We’re looking for the hyper-local stuff — the things happening on our streets that don’t usually get noticed.

There’s no cash prize — just recognition from the community. The point is to celebrate what’s already going on here and encourage more of it.

Community Connection: Finding a Family Doctor

The West Toronto Ontario Health Team (WTOHT), in partnership with LAMP Community Health Centre, is here to help Mimico residents find a family doctor that meets their specific needs. The Primary Care Access Team (PCAT) simplifies the search for medical care by identifying local doctors who are currently accepting patients.

How PCAT Supports You

The PCAT team includes Social Workers and Community Health Workers. Their team will guide you through the healthcare system with ease. They assist by:

  • Initial Assessment: Helping you fill out a short health information form to understand your preferences.

  • Doctor Matching: Finding a physician nearby who is a good fit for you.

  • Appointment Assistance: Helping you connect with a clinic and book your first visit.

  • Resource Navigation: Connecting you to community resources like mental health support, financial advocacy, or legal services when necessary.

Connect With PCAT

If you are looking for a family doctor, reaching out is easy:

Have a great weekend, Mimico!
