We have partnered with the Waterfront Regeneration Trust, a charity dedicated to the stewardship of the Great Lakes Waterfront and Trans Canada Trail to host a Trail Information Cafe and Litter Drive.

10:15 am Trail Care Litter Drive led by the Mimico Residents Association
11:00 am Walking tour along the Trail led by the Friends of Humber Bay Park
1:00 pm Perennial Gardening activity (at the foot of Superior Avenue)
1:00 pm Second walking tour along the Trail led by the Friends of Humber Bay Park
2:00 pm Event Ends
More Information About the Clean-up Activity starting @ 10:15 am
Interested participants go to the MRA table to sign a waiver and pick up supplies supplied by TCT/WRT.
Available Supplies: gloves, litter pickers (on loan from the City), burlap bags (from Birds and Beans), & disposable Nitrile gloves.Scope: Waterfront from the foot of Norris to Humber Bay Park Rd. Maps will be provided.
Return to the table when finished or your bag is full. Volunteers weigh the bags for our grand total tally.
Participants will be directed to The Birds and Beans tent to meet volunteers for a little “thank you treat” and pick up their Great Lakes Waterfront Trail badge.
