Registration for this event is not required.
City Planning invites you to attend an Open House to learn about the consultants’ key study findings and conclusions regarding the following areas:
Land Use and Built Form
Community Services and Facilities
Heritage Resource Assessment
Traffic Analysis
Servicing and Infrastructure Analysis
Community Energy Plan
At the event, the consulting team and multi-disciplinary City staff and agency team will be present to discuss their findings and answer any questions you might have.
Once available, the consultant reports will be posted on the City’s Mimico 20/20 homepage:

This Open House is an important step towards the preparation of the Mimico-by-the-Lake Secondary Plan – your attendance and following feedback is strongly encouraged.

Work Progress – Consultants Reports
The Consultant Team is completing the supporting background reports that will assist in the preparation of a Secondary Plan. In the coming weeks, the following reports will be posted on the City’s Mimico 20/20 study homepage once available:
- Traffic Analysis
- Servicing and Infrastructure Analysis
- Heritage Resource Assessment
- Community Energy Plan
- Community Services and Facilities Overview
A comprehensive Final Study Report will also be submitted by the lead consultant, Urban Strategies, at the end of the study.
**NEWS** Mimico Cultural Heritage Resource Assessment NOW AVAILABLE
The first of the above mentioned subconsultants reports is now complete and is now posted on the study homepage. Download PDF
The purpose of the study is to inform the emerging land use planning framework by identifying existing heritage resources and potential resources recommended for further individual study. The study also contains a history of Mimico which is sure to be of interest to everyone.
