Let’s Talk Transit! Etobicoke – Lakeshore Workshop
Wednesday, August 26, 6pm – 7:30pm, Mimico Coronation Clubhouse
Live in Etobicoke-Lakeshore and take transit? Whether you’re in Mimico, Humber Bay Shores, New Toronto, or Queensway, join this community gathering to talk about our experiences on the TTC and share ideas for how transit can be made more reliable, affordable, and accessible in our ward. Tell us what’s working with transit, what’s not working, and what could make transit better for you.
Join TTCriders.ca , Mimico Residents Association, Humber Bay Shores Condominium Association, and the New Toronto-Lakeshore Village Residents Association for a Transit Story Sharing Circle! These stories will help inform community-driven advocacy during this municipal election.
Location: Mimico Coronation Clubhouse, near Mimico GO (Take the GO Train to Mimico GO, or take the 76 to Royal York & Newcastle) Note that Mimico GO is not elevator-accessible.

We believe a stronger community starts with a better-informed one. That’s why we keep this going. It isn’t the most regular publication, but subscriptions are up 26% over the last four months, and that’s motivation enough to keep it coming.
If you agree it’s worth having, consider signing up for MRA membership. It’s $1 a month. We’re closing in on 200 paying members, which tells us we’re doing things residents appreciate. And it gives us financial independence on top of that.
We’re all volunteers. Our biggest costs are insurance and rent for event spaces, and it’s much easier to plan and commit confidently when we know a few hundred neighbours have our backs.
