Project Description:
Mixed Company Theatre (MCT) started a community arts program with an inter-generational and inter-cultural group of Lakeshore residents. This group has been exploring what it is like to live in the neighbourhood, what is a typical day-in-the-life within this area, and what are some of their concerns for the future, including the development of high rise condominiums along the Lakeshore.
MCT is looking for participants to join us at Mimico Centennial Library and take part in this incredible art making process. We are offering workshops in music – including making instruments from recycled materials, design – building sets, costumes, props and puppets, and of course skills in acting and performance.
