| 3. 39 Newcastle | Michael S. provided overview of project to board. Overall felt the proposal was fair with 3 tower, publicly accessible outdoor space, sufficient on-site parking, on-site short term parking and passenger pickup dropoff. However project does not have affordable housing proposed at this time Interesting note – NAFCAN restrictions apply |
| 4. Meeting with Councillor | Lauren provided overview of meeting. Royal York Congestion – bumper to bumper during morning and evening. MRA suggested adding an advanced green at Judson and adding express bus from HBS to Mimico Go HBS Go Station – Councillor advised that station is currently at a standstill Development – A lot of red tape on the city side that prevents meaningful intervention from the community side. MRA suggested City use “H” to hold developments that are premature and use creative thinking to increase positive development. MRA to submit letter regarding 315 Royal York and prepare deputation for Community Council. Road Resurfacing Initiative – Councillor asked MRA to survey community for streets that need City’s attention |
